Daughters of Charity Welcome

Extend your mercy towards others, so that there can be no one in need whom you meet without helping. For what hope is there for us if God should withdraw His Mercy from us?

St. Vincent de Paul

This quote from our Founder, St. Vincent de Paul describes succinctly the Mission of the Daughters of Charity. For 389 years the Daughters of Charity along with our collaborators and benefactors have served this mission; seeking out the most abandoned through the ministries of education, health care, social and pastoral services. We are an international community of 17,000 sisters serving in Asia, Africa, Europe, and the Americas.
St. Vincent de Paul Catholic School has been a part of this mission of service since 1959 when the school opened and four Daughters of Charity staffed the school. The Daughters of Charity and dedicated lay staff continue today to build on the spiritual and academic foundation laid by those who have gone before us, to offer an excellent education for the children and families who otherwise could not afford one.

In the spirit of our founders, St. Vincent de Paul, St. Louise de Marrillac, and St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, it is an honor and a privilege to minister to families and educate students to lead, serve, and grow to their full potential as beloved children of God in a community where parents, teachers, and school staff nurture each child’s faith and potential each day.

Welcome to St. Vincent de Paul Catholic School!

God Bless,

Sr. Adella L. Armentrout, D.C.
